Since I got the shampoo I already knew I’d like the conditioner and I was 100% correct! Kiehl’s Amino Acid Conditioner is so soothing for my hair.
I’m always looking for good conditioners that don’t weight my hair down and that also work with hard water, and I really like this conditioner, it has a lovely coconut smell and it makes my hair feel very soft, I have very fine hair that can get tangled and this conditioner helps a lot. I haven’t tried it with the shampoo yet but I definitely will.
It performs much better than more expensive masks and treatments in terms of pampering my hair. Softness, shine, healthy volume etc rather than restructuring with protein etc. It does coat my hair but it is not a siliconey, sticky feeling, more like some oil care. I’m Ok with this because my entire hair shaft feels brittle nowadays.
My fried ends need other products but my hair shaft feels healthy with this. Only, my very dry hair gets oily very quickly if I heat style after using this. The smell is an artificial coconut which may feel too much for some but I’m OK with this given the overall performance of this conditioner on my hair. I will keep on buying this. A little goes a long way.
This is a great conditioner if you have fine hair. It does not weigh hair down and gives a balance of hydration and shine. Looking forward to exploring more Khiel’s products!
