I have always loved Kiehl’s for its natural formulations and the Kiehls Calendula Herbal Extract Toner was one I always turn to whenever my skin kicks up its tantrums.
Formulated with calendula petals, burdock root and allantoin -which are all traditional medicinal herbs commonly used in old skin remedies- the toner soothes and reduce skin inflammation while it hydrates and balances the skin pH. Best of all, it is formulated without alcohol, which makes it suitable not only for normal to oil-skin types, but also sensitive skin.
After cleansing, I pat the toner onto my face with a cotton pad twice a day after cleansing. The toner has a lovely floral scent, attributed to the many Calendula petals inside the toner. On application, it feels extremely lightweight and refreshing, and dried off within 1-2 minutes to leave soft, bouncy and hydrated skin. I usually saturate a cotton pad with the toner and place it over pimples for 5-10 minutes and it works really well to calm the redness!
I have used a million skincare products but this is the best I have ever used. the toner made my skin’s texture even (still improving!), I have no acne past 1 month, skin feels less oily and I wake up to soft and smooth skin since I also use it before bedtime.
