I love this cleanser. It’s exfoliating quality is just right – it doesn’t make my skin feel like I just rubbed sandpaper on it.
Amazonian White Clay (Fair Trade) is mineral-rich and extremely porous to help absorb excess oil and detoxify the skin – Aloe Vera helps soothe the skin – and Salicylic Acid dissolves pore-clogging skin debris.
Reduces Redness and Inflammation – Oat Kernel Powder is a natural exfoliant and absorber of surface oils, known for its anti-irritant and anti-redness properties.
The product has a clay-like granular and creamy feel that lathers/foams enough for a feel-good coating to be all over it. A little is really long, so it doesn’t take much.
When I use the face wash and toner 2 times a day, it really cleans my pores and keeps them that way. I like the fact that this is a clay lotion with a small amount of particles for micro abrasion, but it still lathers.
I feel that the clay really helps balance the oil on my face and leaves a fresh feeling afterwards. Clay is generally highly recommended to remove toxins and excess oil, so it is great for combination/oily skin.
I am absolutely hooked on Amazonian clay products!
