I’ve repurchased this 5 times already! This works so good. My friends where saying I looked so much better around my eyes.I’m constantly laughing/smiling so I need a good cream to keep my eye area looking good and this is it!
It seems like every day there are new Vitamin C serums coming out from multiple skincare lines, but this one is really a winner for me. First of all, I came into this looking for an Ascorbic Acid serum because it’s the most well researched form of Vitamin C to be used topically. There are a lot of “newer” forms of Vitamin C in skincare that are promising, but you can’t go wrong with a tried and true form (side note, Ive seen a lot of gimmicky skincare lines market “Vitamin C” products that just have fruit extracts in them with only a tiny bit of active ingredients, so always make sure to research your serums). This product also comes with an air-tight and light-proof pump to keep the Vitamin C stable. The texture is great, like a rich cream that rubs into the skin very well and has not caused me any irritation. While it’s marketed as an under-eye serum, you can really use it anywhere as a spot treatment.
The Kiehl’s Powerful-Strength Dark Circle Reducing Vitamin C Eye Serum comes in a pump applicator that helps keep the active ingredients in the formula potent. (It’s also more sanitary because you’re not dipping your fingers into the jar.) Just one pump is more than enough to cover both undereyes;
One side note: I do not recommend the companion serum to this (the “Powerful-Strength Vitamin C Serum”), as it has a very chalky texture, contains unnecessary and irritating fragrant components, and not all of the sizes come in an air-tight container which means the Vitamin C may become ineffective. I love the eye serum version, but I’d recommend passing on the “regular” version
